Puppy Love offers an alternative to traditional boarding that goes beyond fulfilling a dog's basic needs and incorporates the free-reign benefits of daycare. Dogs that join us for boarding are automatically enrolled in daycare during the day. After a day of free-reign fun, your dog will retire to his own private, size appropriate, kennel for much needed rest.

Cancellation policy - We require notification of a boarding reservation cancellation at least 48 hours prior to the boarding stay. We will charge an amount equal to one night's stay if notification is not received within this time-frame.

Ice Cream Service: A great way to break up your dogs' day is to treat them to our popular Ice Cream Service. ($3)

Daily Brushing: Keep your long haired dog tangle free during his stay. ($2)
Departure Bath: Offered in conjunction with a boarding or Daycare stay. Your dog will look, smell and feel great with a bath at Puppy Love before going home. (See our Bath page)
Medication: Feel secure knowing your dog will be administered his medication ($1/dosage)
Hungry Puppy: Forgot to pack your dogs meals? We can provide your dog with house food (<50lbs=$1 or >50lbs=$2)
Training Tune-Up: One-on-one training with Puppy Be Good! Instructor, Angela Portera, to reinforce training. *Must be a pre- or existing student . ($10/ 15 minutes)

Behavior: All dogs must be non-aggressive towards dogs and humans.
Collars: All dogs must have a quick-release collar with nametag
Flea Prevention: Your dog MUST be flea-free
*Kennel cough is a highly contagious airborne infection similar to the common cold that kids can pick up while at human daycare. No vaccine is 100% effective as new strains of Kennel Cough continually develop and some dogs can be more susceptible to the infection than others. Puppy Love takes all possible precautions to eliminate the possible spread of this infection in our facilities. We strictly monitor and maintain proper ventilation at all times and follow a rigorous cleaning schedule. In addition to requiring a current Bordatella vaccination we highly recommend that owners get this vaccination two weeks prior to their first boarding or daycare visit. The vaccine can take up to two weeks to become fully effective. There is also some current debate about how long the various vaccines will protect your dog. Ask your veterinarian for more information and make sure they know when your dog will be staying with us.
We recommend bringing the following items to make your dog's visit as comfortable as possible:
-Food: It is best to keep your dog on their own diet to avoid any strain on their digestive system. Food MUST be packed in sealable containers -Bedding: Or something that smells like home (blankets, worn clothing, etc.). All Items MUST have dog's name & be MACHINE WASHABLE. -Toys: Nothing makes a dog feel more at home than one or two of his favorite toys. -Treats: Like chocolates on your pillow at a fine hotel, we love to put out a few treats on their beds at night or whenever you'd like us to offer them. -Medication: We can administer almost any medication on any needed schedule. We cannot, at this time, administer injections. FAQ Q. How far in advance should I make my boarding reservation? A. Holidays, summer, and weekends tend to fill up quickly. Try to make reservations as far in advance as possible to ensure your dog's spot. Q. Does the cost of boarding include daycare? A. YES! Q. I have two dogs and they can sleep together but one will eat the others food if I don't stand over them and watch. Can someone make sure they both eat? A. Yes. We can feed dogs who stay in the same kennel separately so they can both eat in peace. Let us know this when you check in and we'll make a note of it on their account. Q. Can someone else pick my dogs up? A. Yes, but only if you specify them as someone approved to pick up your pet. At the time of pickup, payment will need to be made so we will need to bill your credit card on file or other arrangements must be made.
